V-Ray is a ray tracing renderer, which has several algorithms of calculations of Global Illumination: V-Ray works as a plugin for Autodesk 3ds Max, Cinema 4D, SketchUp, Rhino, TrueSpace7.5, Autodesk Maya, as a separate Standalone module, and Blender (by means of Standalone module). The first beta version of the V-Ray renderer has appeared in 2000. Easy enough to change the original SU file, but would you have to start back from scratch with the render? I could imagine that you might be able to save all your render settings and Twinmotion objects in such cases that you simply re-apply when you bring in a slightly altered SU model.V-Ray is a rendering system (of visual imaging), developed by Chaos Group (Bulgaria). Then you decide you want to change some furniture. ![]() Let’s say you rendered an interior scene. Here’s a question around the fact that it is standalone software. I’m guessing that they have either spent a lot longer tweaking things than Justin had time to do for demo purposes, or that the latest version of the software is that much better. However, when I look for images that others have produced, some are much better than that.
